When to use it

The profile and fin imitate a flying fish, one of the prey of tuna and mahi-mahi in open water. The iridescent blue shifts tone with the angle of the light, like the real fish.

How to work it

• Long jerks: it leaps and lands on its side, like a flying fish making a run for it. That is its card when tuna are hunting flyers.
• Short jerks: it spits water without leaving the surface, leaving bubble and sound.
• The pause: it sits floating on its side, showing the flank and the engraved fin.

Target species

Bluefin and albacore tuna, and any predator feeding on the surface: amberjack, leerfish or GT in tropical waters.
